KatieOJewelry.com is committed to protecting your  personal information.  We will not sell  your information to third parties for any reason - ever.  At KatieOjewelry.com, we are committed to excellent customer service and the information we collect is for the sole purpose of serving your needs - processing your orders, responding to your inquiries, shipping your ordered work, or sending newsletters - if you have signed up for this service.  

All orders are transmitted in an encrypted format.  To be sure that your order is secure, simply check web browser after you have hit the checkout button.  The http address will now read "https".  At checkout we require the credit card customer identification number with every online purchase made with American Express, Visa, and Mastercard.  We do not store any credit card numbers or  the customer identification number on our system. 

KatieOjewelry.com may be required to release certain informaion to law enforcement agencies under the Freedom Of Information Privacy Act.  In the event that an order is deemed to have been processed under false pretences or in cases where credit card fraud had been commited, KatieOjewelry.com will co-operate with state and federal law enforcement agencies and will not be held liable for releasing your information to state and /or federal law enforcement agencies.

Like most other web sites, KatieOjewelry.com uses "cookies".  Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computers hard drive throught your web browser.  They enable us to recognize your browser and to priovide features such as automatic login and permanent shopping carts for convienent storage of items in your cart.  These featues will not function if you choose not to accept cookies.
